Black Friday 2026 lands on Friday, November 27, the day after Thanksgiving (the fourth Thursday of November, which falls on November 26 this year). Cyber Monday follows on Monday, November 30, 2026. Plenty of brands don’t wait that long, and some early Black Friday codes are already live. This page collects the codes we can confirm, what to expect in the categories we cover, and how to tell a real deal from a dressed-up list price.

What to expect by category
Adobe, which tracks online prices at major U.S. retailers, reported that during the 2025 holiday season discounts peaked at 30.9% off list price for electronics, 29.6% for toys, 24.3% for TVs, 23.4% for computers, 20.2% for appliances and 18.8% for furniture. Those are peak averages, not what every product will see, but they show where the bigger markdowns tend to land.

TVs
TVs are one of the categories Adobe tracks with sizable holiday markdowns. Consumer Reports warns against rock-bottom doorbuster sets from lesser-known brands and notes that major brands tend to score better on reliability, so compare the exact model before you buy.

Portable power stations
Power station brands run their own Black Friday sales on top of retailer deals, and ALLPOWERS already has early Black Friday codes live (see above). Size the unit to what you need to run before you compare discounts, because a cheap station that can’t start your fridge is no bargain.

Tom’s Guide ranks Black Friday as the top mattress sale of the year, when most mattress companies roll out their biggest discounts. Its main advice is to favor a bed with a sleep trial, so you can return it if it doesn’t suit you.

Strollers, car seats and baby gear

Coffee machines count as appliances, a category Adobe found had smaller peak discounts than electronics and toys. Check whether a bundle includes a grinder or a milk frother you would otherwise buy separately, and compare the machine itself, not just the advertised savings.

Power tools
Holiday tool deals often come as kits that bundle batteries and a charger, which can be worth more than the price cut on a bare tool. Stick with one battery platform so the batteries you buy now also run the tools you add later.

Patio and outdoor
Adobe found that furniture had the smallest peak discount of the categories it tracked in 2025, and it was the only one where the peak discount fell year over year. If you’re furnishing a patio, compare holiday prices against the brand’s clearance section before you decide.

Toys were near the top of Adobe’s 2025 discount list, which makes Black Friday weekend a good time to cross kids’ gifts off the list. For grown-ups who are hard to shop for, a gift-of-the-month club ships for months after the holidays.

How to shop Black Friday smart
- Check the price history. UK consumer group Which? has repeatedly found that most Black Friday “deals” it tracked were the same price or cheaper at another point in the year. Price trackers such as CamelCamelCamel and Keepa, which Consumer Reports points to, show whether a sale price is actually low.
- Read the return window. Holiday return periods vary by store, and mattresses depend on the sleep trial. Know the deadline and any restocking fee before you buy.
- Compare exact model numbers. Doorbuster versions can differ from the model that gets reviewed, so match the full model number to the one in our guides.
- Use one code per order. Most stores take a single code, so try the largest one first.
- Make a list and set a budget. Decide what you need before the sales start, so a countdown timer doesn’t pick for you.

Often, yes, if the price is good. Some brands start Black Friday codes weeks early; ALLPOWERS’ early code runs from late October into mid-December. Check the item’s price history, and buy from stores with a return window that covers you if the price drops later.
Which categories usually get the biggest discounts?
In Adobe’s 2025 holiday season data, electronics and toys had the deepest peak discounts, followed by apparel, TVs and computers. Appliances and furniture had smaller peak discounts.
