The quick verdict
- Get the Colugo Compact+ if your child is 4 months or older, you want an easy one-hand fold, and you’d rather spend about $200 than $500. It also comes with a rain cover, cup holder and carry backpack.
- Get the UPPAbaby Minu V3 if you’re traveling with a newborn, want to clip in an infant car seat, or plan to use it as your everyday stroller. It has suspension and a basket that holds twice as much.
Bottom line: For most parents of babies over 4 months who want a second stroller for travel, the Colugo is the better value. For newborns, or if this will be your only stroller, the Minu V3 is worth the extra money.

Price and value
This is the biggest difference. At $199 the Colugo Compact+ costs about $300 less than the Minu V3 and comes ready to travel, with a rain cover, cup holder and carry backpack in the box. If you add the Minu V3’s travel bag ($99.99) and cup holder ($39.99), it costs about $640, more than three times the Colugo.

Newborns and car seats
If your baby is under 4 months, the choice is made for you. The Minu V3 can be used from birth thanks to a built-in foot barrier, and it clicks onto UPPAbaby’s Mesa and Aria infant car seats (adapters for other brands are sold separately). The Colugo Compact+ starts at 4 months and has no car seat adapters.
Winner: UPPAbaby Minu V3
Fold and portability
Both weigh about the same (16.18 lb vs 16.7 lb) and fold with one hand. The Colugo’s auto-fold needs no latch, and it comes with a backpack-style carry bag. The Minu V3 folds in one step and stands on its own, which helps when you’re waiting at the gate. Both are sold as overhead-bin size, but bin space is never guaranteed, so be ready to gate-check either one.
Winner: Tie. The Colugo has the bag in the box, and the Minu V3 stands when folded.
Ride, storage and everyday use
The Minu V3 is the better stroller to push every day. It has suspension for bumpy sidewalks, and its basket holds 20 lb, twice the Colugo’s 10 lb. The Colugo has no suspension, and owners mention a bumpier ride on rough ground. The Colugo has the higher weight limit (55 lb vs 50 lb), so it may last a little longer as your child grows.
Winner: UPPAbaby Minu V3

What owners say
Colugo Compact+: Parents like the easy fold, the extras in the box and the price. Common complaints are the small basket, a bumpy ride on rough surfaces and a shallow seat for taller toddlers.
UPPAbaby Minu V3: Many families say it’s good enough to skip a full-size stroller. The most-mentioned annoyances are a finicky harness, a frame that sometimes doesn’t fully latch open, and the cost of add-ons.

FAQ
Can you use the Colugo Compact+ from birth?
No. Colugo rates the Compact+ for babies 4 months and older, and it doesn’t take infant car seats. For a newborn, the Minu V3 is the better choice of these two.
Do both strollers fit in an airplane overhead bin?
Both are marketed as carry-on size. Whether yours goes in the bin depends on the airline, the plane and the space available, so plan to gate-check if needed.
Is the Minu V3 worth the extra money?
It is if you need newborn use, car seat compatibility, a bigger basket or a smoother daily ride. If you mainly need a light stroller for trips with an older baby or toddler, the Colugo gives you most of what matters for much less.
Which has the higher weight limit?
The Colugo Compact+ holds up to 55 lb. The Minu V3 holds up to 50 lb and 40 in tall.
