ALLPOWERS P1800 vs EcoFlow DELTA 3 Plus is one of the closest matchups in portable power right now. Both stations hold 1024Wh of LiFePO4 battery, both are rated for 1800W of continuous AC output with a 3600W surge, and both promise a sub-10ms UPS switchover for outages. The differences show up in ports, solar input, expansion and price, and those details decide which one belongs in your garage, RV or closet. We compared specs, expert testing and owner reviews to sort it out.

The short answer
Buy the ALLPOWERS P1800 if you want the most capacity per dollar, a strong 650W solar input and a fixed 1kWh unit you will never need to expand. Buy the EcoFlow DELTA 3 Plus if you want more outlets, faster AC charging, a mature app and the option to grow to as much as 5kWh with extra batteries. Our overall pick is the DELTA 3 Plus for home backup, and the P1800 for budget buyers and solar campers.

Capacity, battery and longevity
On paper the two are twins: 1024Wh of usable lithium iron phosphate storage, which is enough to run a full-size fridge for many hours, keep a CPAP, router and phones going overnight, or power lights and a laptop for a weekend of camping. The chemistry is the right one for both, since LiFePO4 handles thousands of cycles and is more heat-tolerant than older lithium-ion cells.
Where they differ is the cycle rating. EcoFlow rates the DELTA 3 Plus for 4,000 cycles while keeping at least 80% of its capacity. ALLPOWERS rates the P1800 for 3,000 cycles to 70%. For most households that cycle a station a few dozen times a year, both will outlast their usefulness, but daily solar users will appreciate EcoFlow’s more generous rating.
Winner: EcoFlow DELTA 3 Plus, for its higher rated cycle life at a higher retained capacity.
Outlets and output
Both stations deliver 1800W of continuous pure sine wave power and can briefly surge to 3600W, which covers coffee makers, microwaves, space heaters on low and most power tools. EcoFlow adds X-Boost, which lets some resistive appliances rated above 1800W run at reduced power rather than tripping the inverter.
The port count is the bigger gap. The DELTA 3 Plus has six AC outlets, two 140W USB-C ports, two 36W USB-A ports, a 12V car socket and two DC5521 barrel ports, for 13 outputs in total. The P1800 offers four AC outlets, two USB-C ports rated up to 140W, two 18W USB-A ports and a 12V socket. One reviewer noted the P1800’s screen labels its USB-C output at 100W, so heavy laptop users should not count on the full 140W. EcoFlow’s one weak point, mentioned in TechRadar’s review, is that only some of its AC outlets accept three-prong plugs.
Winner: EcoFlow DELTA 3 Plus, for more outlets, faster USB-A and X-Boost.
Charging speed and solar
EcoFlow is quicker from the wall. Its 1500W AC input refills the DELTA 3 Plus from empty in about 56 minutes. The P1800 tops out at 1200W in its Fast mode, which ALLPOWERS says gets you from 0 to 80% in roughly an hour, and it also has Standard (800W) and Silent (500W) modes for when you do not need speed. That Silent mode is a nice touch for charging in a bedroom.
Solar is closer than the numbers suggest. EcoFlow has two 500W solar inputs, for up to 1000W, which can refill it in about 70 minutes under ideal sun. ALLPOWERS gives you a single 650W XT60 input, which is more than many 1kWh stations accept and plenty for two or three common folding panels. Both can combine AC and solar charging, and EcoFlow can also charge from its 800W Alternator Charger in a vehicle.
Winner: EcoFlow DELTA 3 Plus for raw speed, though the P1800’s 650W solar input is excellent for its price.
Home backup, UPS and expansion
Both stations claim a switchover time of 10ms or less, fast enough that a router, modem or desktop PC normally rides through an outage without rebooting. TechRadar’s reviewer kept his internet gear online during a simulated power cut with the DELTA 3 Plus, and a hands-on reviewer at Vantour saw no flicker on a monitor plugged into the P1800 during a mains cut.
Expansion is where EcoFlow pulls away. The DELTA 3 Plus can connect to DELTA 3, DELTA 2 and DELTA 2 Max extra batteries, as well as the DELTA Pro 3 battery with the right cable, for up to 5kWh of storage. The P1800 has no extra battery port, so 1024Wh is all you will ever get. If you might later want to run a fridge and furnace blower for a full day, that matters.
Winner: EcoFlow DELTA 3 Plus, because it can grow with your backup plan.
Size, noise and app
These stations are about the same size and weight, both near 28 lb, with built-in carry handles. EcoFlow lists its charging noise at under 30dB at 600W and under 40dB at 1200W. ALLPOWERS quotes about 30dB in normal use and up to 60dB at most. Reviewers describe both as quiet in day-to-day use.
Each has a phone app over Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. EcoFlow’s app is more developed, with time-of-use scheduling and storm alerts. ALLPOWERS has improved its app with eco mode, backup reserve and firmware updates, but one reviewer could not get the P1800 to connect over Wi-Fi and had to rely on Bluetooth.
Winner: EcoFlow DELTA 3 Plus, for its more polished software.
Value
This is the P1800’s category. ALLPOWERS frequently sells it in our budget tier, while the DELTA 3 Plus usually lands in the mid-range tier. You are getting the same 1kWh capacity, the same inverter rating, UPS backup and a 5-year warranty for noticeably less money. If you do not need six AC outlets or expansion, that saving is hard to argue with. ALLPOWERS also runs sitewide promo codes from time to time; see our deals page for current ones.
Winner: ALLPOWERS P1800, for capacity per dollar.

FAQ
Can the ALLPOWERS P1800 or EcoFlow DELTA 3 Plus run a refrigerator?
Yes. Both have the 1800W continuous output and 3600W surge most household fridges need to start, and 1024Wh will keep a typical fridge running for many hours. Check your fridge’s label or measure it with a plug-in watt meter for an accurate runtime estimate.
Can I add more batteries to the ALLPOWERS P1800?
No. The P1800 has no extra battery port. If you want expansion, the DELTA 3 Plus can reach up to 5kWh with compatible EcoFlow extra batteries.
Do they work as a UPS for a computer or router?
Both list a switchover of 10ms or less, which reviewers found fast enough to keep routers and monitors running through a power cut. For critical equipment, test with your own gear and follow the manufacturer’s guidance.
Are these safe to use indoors?
Yes. Unlike gas generators, battery power stations produce no exhaust, so they are suitable for indoor use. Keep them ventilated, dry and away from heat, and follow the manufacturer’s charging and load limits.
